Keep Your Deck Looking Great

Summer is a great time to do maintenance on your deck. In Richmond, we
are out of the rainy spring & we often have a few day stretch of
dry, warm days. This allows time for the deck to fully dry out between power washing and sealing. It also allows for quick drying on the sealer itself. Try to get your deck washed & sealed early in the summer, before temperatures get too high. In very hot temperatures the sealer can dry too quickly, making it difficult to apply evenly.

Follow these steps to keep your deck looking great:

1) Have it professionally power washed. This will clean up years of dirt & help to return the wood to it's original color.

2)Next, have the deck sealed. The best types of sealers come with a 5
year warranty. They cost a little more, but are worth the price.
Sealers come in various color options to suit your home.
